How To Change Boot Animation On Any Samsung Mobile



For those of you who want custom Android boot animations on your Samsung devices such as Galaxy S4, S5, S6, S7, Note 5, etc…etc…, you will need to use QMG files instead of traditional bootanimation.zip and install them manually into /system/media directory.

The good news is that this will work on any Samsung device that has root.  If your Samsung device is rooted, you will be able to enjoy these boot animations.

Before we begin, you will need a rooted Samsung phone!

REQUIREMENTS :

1. Rooted phone. 

2. Boot animation zip. 

3. Root Browser app. 

STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL :

1. Open your browser and type in google, Boot animation for Samsung. Then download which boot animation you like it. 

2. Install and run Root Browser app on the Play Store. 

3. Do a long-press on the boot animation zip file you downloaded.  In this example, I downloaded the Batman.zip so I did a long-press and selected “Extract” to extra the actual QMG boot animation files.

4. You should now have a new folder with the QMG files.

5. Before you can copy and paste the QMG files, you will need to delete the existing files (make a backup first) so go ahead and browse to /system/media directory and delete bootsamsung.qmg, bootsamsungloop.qmg, and shutdown.qmg files.

6. Go back to the new QMG files you extracted earlier and copy the files.And paste them in /system/media directory.

7. . Do a long-press on each of the QMG files and select “Permissions”.Change the permissions to “RW/R/R” like shown in the video. 

8. That’s it!  Try rebooting and you will see the new shutdown boot animation.And also the new boot animation when rebooted!

9. Done.

WHAT IS ROOT?? 

Rooting is the Android equivalent of jailbreaking, a means of unlocking the operating system so you can install unapproved apps, deleted unwanted bloatware, update the OS, replace the firmware, overclock (or underclock) the processor, customize anything and so ON.

ADVANTAGES OF ROOT :

1. Installing Custom ROMs

After rooting your device, you can flash a custom ROM or Kernel, which means you can have a new device.

 2. Remove Preinstalled Crapware

Manufacturer won’t allow you to uninstall those preinstalled apps on your device. Rooting a device can make them removed easily, which ensures a high running quality.

 3. Blocking Ads in Any Apps

Sick of the pop-up ads when playing games? A rooted device can remove this annoying ads immediately.

 4. Install Incompatible Apps

Some wonderful apps need the root access if you install them on your device. Root your phone, enjoy more apps.

5. Boost your Android Device’s Speed and Battery Life

Some powerful apps like Greenify can close the useless applications automatically, which can effectively improve your device’s performance. Of course, Greenify needs root access.

 6. Make Complete Backups of Your Android Phone or Tablet

For some brand, we can unroot the device after rooting, so, the manufactures don’t know if you have rooted your Android device or not. But to make matters worse, Android device manufactures also go to great lengths to know if your device has been rooted!

 3. Problems with Updates

Sometimes you root Android phone to get latest OS but after rooting, you may find that the automatic updates to the firmware stopped. Updates fail to install due to software modifications that occurred while the distribution has been rooted.

Manufacturers don’t provide entire access of the hardware functionality. Like, you can increase the vibration intensity,overclock CPU & much more by rooting your Android device. Similar to this, you can also increase your device’s sound output. It will not only increase sound but will also make it much clear and crisp. Lets get started with Installing Dolby Atmossystem in any Android device.

So guys if you want to install "Dolby Atmos" on Any Xiaomi phones then you will need some requirements for that,

1. TWRP or any custom recovery installed on your phone.

2. Rooted Phone (optional)

3. Dolby Atmos Zip file.

4. Dolby Atmos Uninsataller zip.

5. Follow the steps properly.

How to Install Dolby Atmos In Any Android device :

1. Download Dolby Atmos zip and Uninsataller zip from the given links and save it on your phone or sd card.

2. Boot your phone into Recovery mode. If you don't know how to boot into recovery mode then google it.

3. Now you are on the TWRP Recovery first go and tap backup option and back it up your current Rom.

4. Now go to the Install section. Select Dolby Atmos zip and flash it (Don't select Dolby Atmos Uninsataller zip).

5. Now click don System Reboot. It will take minimum 5-10 minutes to boot up so wait....

6. After boot you will see a new app called Dolby Atmos on your phone so now open this app and set it and use this new Dolby Atmos sound effects on your phone.

7. Done. Now enjoy Dolby Atmos on your phone.

How To uninstall Dolby Atmos On any Android Phone :

If you don't want this Dolby Atmos on your phone or if your phone is stuck on boot logo then use this trick to uninstall Dolby Atmos.

1. Again go to recovery mode.

2. Go to Install section and now select Dolby Atmos Uninsataller zip (Download from the given links). And flash it.

3. Done now reboot your phone and now your Dolby Atmos is successfuly Removed from your phone.

5. Now you will this Extension then click on that.

2. You need standard memory card higher then 4 GB. It should be class  4 +. 

3. Now Download 2 apps from the play Store. 

- MemoryInfo & Swapfile Check
- ROEHSOFT RAM Expander (SWAP)

4. First open MemoryInfo & Swapfile Check app and check your device supports virtual ram or not. If you see congratulations pop up then it means your device supports virtual Ram.

5. Now open ROEHSOFT RAM Expander (SWAP) app and click on Original values.  

6. Then select your sd card for making a ram. 

7. Now it will take some time to create a RAM on your device. 

8. After creating a ram now click on active button on the top. Then this rom will activate. 

9. Enjoy the extra ram on your phone.

boot animation is the animation that is played when your device starts up. Root access is required and your device must be compatible to install custom boot animations.

How To Change Boot Animation On Any Android

REQUIREMENTS :

1. Rooted android phone.

2. Boot Animation app (use in Method - 1 only) 

3. Es file Explorer app (use in Method - 2 only) 

4. Download Boot Animation zip file (use in Method - 2 only) 

Change Boot Animation On Any Android

               METHOD - 1 

1. Download & install Boot Animation App from the given link or from play store. 

2.  Open this app then click on 3 dot option in top right corner. And select “Backups” 

3. Now click on plus icon (+). It will automatically create backup of your original boot animation. 

4. Now go back and select your favorite Boot Animation. And click on that. Then you will see “play icon”. You can watch privew. 

5. Now if you want to install this Boot Animation then click on “plus icon(+)” 

6. Now press on" indtall”, Then it will automatically Download & your Boot Animation. 

7. Now “Restart” your phone. Now you will see new Boot Animation On your phone. 

8. Done. 

Change Boot Animation On Any Android

               METHOD - 2 

If you follow “Method-1”,But Boot Animation not installed on your phone then don't worry this is a 100% Working proces, so follow steps properly. 

1. Download & install “ES File Explorer App” from the given link or from the play Store. 

2. In this method you need to “Download Boot Animation zip file”. Don't worry link given below for best Boot Animations for free. Download from their. 

3. After Downloading both (ES File Explorer & Boot Animation) Now open ES File Explorer App. 

4. Now click on 3 dot option in the top left corner. And find “Root Explorer”. And “Enable it” 

5. It will ask for "Root Permission”. Then click on “Grant” (Allow) 

6. Fist take a backup of your original Boot Animation for that go to" Device/System/Media folder”.

7. Then you will see" bootanimation.zip” file. 

8. Now rename it like this and click on "OK” 

9. Now it will look like this (Backuo Done) 

10. Now find your" Downloaded Boot Animation zip file”. It should be in bootanimation.zip
This format if it is not then rename it properly. 

11. Now copy your new bootanimation.zip & paste it in “Device/System/Media folder”. 

12. Now long press on that and click on 3 dot option on bottom right corner. 

12. Now click on “properties”. 

13. Then click on “permissions change” 

14. Now do settings like this and press ok. 

15. Now “Restart ” your phone. Done.
