Hello guys In this video i am going to show you How to install Lineage OS 15 On Redmi Note 3 (Kanzo). Lineage OS 15 is based on Android O (Oreo) 8.0. So guys in this video i will show you How to download and install Android O on Redmi note 3 so watch this video till the end then you properly understand How To Install Lineage OS 15 Rom On Redmi Note 3.
What Is Lineage OS 15 Rom :
LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 8 (oreo), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
Requirements For Installing Lineage OS 15 On Redmi Note 3
1. Unlocked Bootloader Needed. If you don't know how to unlock bootloader on any Xiaomi deivce the watch this tutorial video or follow the full tutorial post. (which may VOID your warranty and may delete all your data. SO first Take a full backup of your all data).
2. Need Latest custom Recovery installed (Like CWM OR TWRP). If you don't know how to install custom recovery on your Redmi Note 3 then watch this video tutorial or follow the post link.
3. Download Lineage OS 15 Rom Zip file. (Download from the given links)
4. Download Gapps Zip File. (Download from the given links).
5. Download Supersu Zip file (if you want to root lineage OS 15).
How To Install Lineage OS 15 On Redmi Note 3
1. First take a full backup of your current rom in to your pc.
2. Download Lineage OS 15 Android oreo Rom for Redmi Note 3 zip file and from the given links on your pc.
3. Boot your phone into recovery mode using key combinations. Or if you don't know How to boot in to twrp recovery mode then google it
4. Go to Wipe section and Wipe data factory reset, Cache partition, Dalvik Cache and Format the System partition.
5. Now move your files from the pc (Lineage OS 15 Android oreo Rom file & Gapps)
6. Now go to install section and select Lineage OS 15 Android oreo rom file and flash it. It will take some time to flash.
7. Now reboot your phone. It will take some time to first hoot.
8. Now finally Lineage OS 15 Android O (Oreo) installed on your Redmi Note 3
9. Done & Enjoy.
How To Root Lineage OS 15 Android O (Oreo) ROM
1. Download Supersu zip file from the given link.
2. Flash supersu zip file from the TWRP Recovery.
. 3. Done. Now your Lineage OS 15 Android O (Oreo) 8.0 Rom is successfully Rooted.
